Be a part of the largest watershed-wide day of action in honor of the Fox River! Each year on the third Saturday in September, communities across Illinois come together to celebrate, protect, and restore the health of the Fox River during "It’s Our Fox River Day" (IOFRD).
This is your chance to:
✔ Volunteer with friends and fellow TYS members
✔ Participate in environmental clean-up and restoration activities
✔ Learn how to protect over 2,500 square miles of watershed that impact 1 million+ residents
✔ Make a real difference while having fun outdoors
✔ Enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments! What makes this special? This event will be led by our TYS teens—from planning to execution—as they step into leadership roles, organize logistics, and guide the community through this meaningful day of service. We’re looking for dedicated teens and families who are passionate about the environment and giving back.
