Registration

Join Friends of the Fox River in cleaning up the Fox River frontage area between Bethesda Park and E.B. Shurts at Fox River Sanctuary. Trash removal from the shoreline and stream channel will continue at Fox River Sanctuary as time allows. Last year we ran out of time, but not out of trash! Volunteers will need to provide their own canoes or kayaks and be an experienced paddler (able to reach, lean and get in and out of boats at times). Or alternatively, volunteers with boots can work the shallow shoreline areas at either park.  Friends of the Fox River will provide trash removal tools. NOTICE: The City of Waukesha does not sponsor or supervise this activity but is only providing the means to solicit volunteers to the sponsor of the activity. All volunteers will be responsible for their own safety and for providing their own equipment, including life vests or other safety gear.

If a shuttle between parks is a barrier, please reach out to Jenni at 847  651 1211 for assistance.

Meeting Location: Bethesda Park 560 Dunbar Ave, Waukesha

Ending Point: Paddle to location at E.B. Shurts, 810 W College Ave, Waukesha
